About The Role

 

We are looking for an experienced back-end engineer to join our R&D team working on a next generation business enablement system. The position is ideal for candidates looking to work in an environment of rapid innovation and invention, looking to challenge industry norms and standards. The role requires previous experience and knowledge in Go, event-driven services over NATS JetStream, PostgreSQL, Docker and Kubernetes. 

Requirements

 

  • Go (3+ years production)
    • Idiomatic Go
    • Concurrency
    • Go Race detection tooling
  • DB
    • NoSQL/SQL (Database) joins, CTEs (incl. recursive), window functions
    • Indexing and query tuning with EXPLAIN ANALYZE
    • Vector Searching, Indexes
    • Connection pooling
    • Schema design and migrations
  • APIs
    • Server-side experience (e.g. schema design, resolvers, N+1 / dataloader patterns, caching, …)
    • Authentication/authorization fundamentals (e.g. OAuth 2.0, OIDC, …)
  • Distributed systems
    • Message brokers / event-driven architecture (NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
    • At-least-once delivery, idempotency, retries, backpressure, consumer lag
  • Infrastructure
    • Docker, and Kubernetes
    • CI/CD pipelines and container registries
    • Some cloud exposure (AWS preferred)

 

 

Desirable

 

    • Design documentation experience
    • NATS – JetStream, KV, Object Store, NEX
    • Ory stack — Kratos, Hydra, Oathkeeper — or equivalent
    • Connection poolers – PgCat, PgBouncer
    • Parser/interpreter or DSL work; embedded scripting runtimes (QuickJS, WASM) WebAssembly in Go
    • Load and performance testing (k6, Vegeta, Gatling)
